Bryan and Johnna Gray have been pastoring One Cause Irving since October of 2016.
Pastor Bryan is a former collegiate national champion at the University of Texas in Speech and Debate, and has coached several national champions in forensics at the University of Alabama and the University of Texas. He is the creator of The Exchange recovery program and an accomplished writer, teacher, and counselor. He has been in ministry at One Cause Church in various leadership capacities for the past four years.
Pastor Johnna graduated Christ for the Nations Institute in 2010 and has since served One Cause Church as youth pastor, worship leader, and now campus pastor.
One Cause Irving was founded in 1953 as Bible Way Chapel Church Pastor Guy Shields. The heritage of this church is rooted in helping people experience the love of God, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and encounter the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Out of this great ministry the Bible Way Fellowship of Ministers emerged providing guidance and licensing for thousands of pastors nationwide. In October of 2016, current campus pastors Bryan and Johnna Gray were set in by Senior Pastor Eric Hollar, and in January of 2017 the church was renamed as One Cause Church. We may have a new name, but the task of the great commission stays the same. We are one church with one cause - the cause of Christ.
One Cause Irving is where old meets new. Located blocks away from the historic downtown, One Cause Irving is nestled in the vibrant community of South Irving. Come enjoy our contemporary praise and worship and stay for the ageless Gospel-centered, scripture-based message. Friendly faces are waiting to greet you at the front door and coffee is waiting for you in the fellowship hall. So come see what God is doing at One Cause Irving: building on a rich history of faith and growing into a greater future with God.
