"Awake to righteousness and do not sin..."
The bible is full of promises concerning who you are after becoming born again. 1 Corinthians 15:34 says "Awake to righteousness, and do not sin." Romans 13:11 says "And [do] this, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation [is] nearer than when we [first] believed." Because of what Jesus did and who He has made us, we are new creations, living at a higher level in our daily lives.
